PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

We organised our annual Iftar Dinner last week on May 25th at the G.V. Hotel with more than 170 guests, parents, staff and students participating. The students’ performances were excellent and the meal was delicious. I would like to thank you all for being with us, on the night, and I strongly believe that these gatherings strengthen our relationships with each other. I also want to thank the organising committee Mrs Amjed, Mrs Malhi and Miss Avan and the other staff members for their hard work and contribution.

Please take note of some other important school matters:

• Three Grade 4 students accompanied Mrs. Malhi to participate in the Intercampus Maths Olympiad. I would like to congratulate Mrs. Malhi and the students for their effort and hard work.
• The soccer matches on Saturdays are great fun. Our teams enjoy their games. The players were very excited today, Friday, when they received their new jerseys. I also would like to thank the parents who volunteered to work at the SJSA canteen last Saturday. You are all welcome to come and support our teams on Saturdays.
• We get a few eggs daily from our chickens. If you would like to buy a dozen eggs for $ 3, please contact the reception. We also ask parents to bring along some empty egg boxes.
• We often find unlabelled school uniforms around the school. Please make sure that your child’s uniform items are properly labelled.
